Samenvatting
During 1980, 102 accidents and incidents occurred by which dangerous freight was involved. The transported dangerous freight was mostly not the cause of the accident. In 81%the accidents were traffic accidents. In 19% the freight worsened the accidents, but were not the cause. The main part of the studied accidents were caused by the human factor (88%). Recommendations for driver education and for publicity are mentioned.
