Samenvatting
Recent developments in registration, classification, new scientific experiences and policy developments are presented. Trends in the epidemiology of accidents between 1984 and 1987 are described. Specific areas, such as traffic accidents, industrial accidents, household accidents and medical care for traffic injuries are considered. Negative consequences of the high-growth scenario, that is increase of the number of accidents in a growing economy and the same old policy are mentioned.
