In this `transport value' study a method is described that has been used in determining the autonomous growth factors of the international transport in the Netherlands-Germany High Speed Train connection (the `East HST'). The method implies that transport prognoses are described using chance functions. The chance function shows the possible values of the transport growth, and the chance that these values will come true.
