Samenvatting
A considerable increase in the use of public transport is a primary objective of public transport policy. The government, however, is not willing to increase subsidies for public transport exploitation sufficiently to achieve the intended growth. An attempt is made to find ways to effect a larger share of public transport without further increases in the government's contributions towards public transport exploitation. To this end, the cost of public transport, and in particular of its exploitation, will be reconsidered.
