Samenvatting
Before the energy crisis in 1973 recommendations for public lighting in residential areas were given for the horizontal illuminances as more than 5 lux. During that crisis only 5 lux was recommended. Now a study is made if 2 lux could be sufficient. Interviews were held and most people considered 1½-2½ lux as sufficient.
