Real- time communications with their vehicles, wherever they are, is becoming an increasingly urgent necessity for some business. Satellite communications offer the advantages of rapid implementation, since they require relatively few infrastructures on earth, and of communication with air, sea or land vehicles. They use on- board terminals whose size and energy requirements are compatible with light vehicles.
