Samenvatting
In this literature study international literature dealing with a whole range of aspects with regard to road safety information and published between 1990 and 2002 was reviewed. All over the world, hundreds and thousands of road safety campaigns are carried out every year. But do they work, and if so, what are the basic principles and preconditions that make up successful road safety communication? What is the contribution of road safety information to the improvement of road safety and to accident reductions? These were the basic questions. (Author/publisher)
