Samenvatting
Inductors contribute considerable to the weight and volume of power-electronic converters and they are one of the main sources of power loss. Therefore it is important to develop an optimum design method for these components. In this paper a criterion is derived which can be applied to the design of each individual inductor in order to optimise the performance of the total magnetic section of converter systems.
