Samenvatting
This study was carried out as part of the decision process with regard to the future public transport network in the eastern part of the Utrecht region. The aim is to optimize the bus network round the Zeist/De Bilt-Utrecht Central Station axis, in combination with the future tram connection between the Central Station and 'de Uithof'. The study tests three possible alternatives for the public transport network within a specified set of basic assumptions and limiting conditions. The study also pays attention to the transportation, exploitation and infrastructural aspects of the future public transport network.
