Samenvatting

Modern spatial data analysis is often tampered by the lack of reliable quantitative information. Many variable and attributes are only measurable or measures on an ordinal or qualitative scale. Consequently, it is necessary to pay more attention to qualitative information systems and to a methodology that places less heavy demands on the quality of data. The purpose of this paper is to contribute to this new way of data management by paying more attention to ordinal geometric scaling.
