Organising Traffic Control Centres in Sweden in Order to Reduce Costs andIncrease Customer Satisfaction.

The Swedish Road Administration (SRA) has established a new, more centralized organization for traffic management. The objective of this new organization is to reduce costs, while maintaining service at the present or an even higher level. This will be done by reducing the number of TrafficControl Centers (TCCs) from seven to four, reducing the number of similarinformation technology (IT) systems, improving the skills of the staff and creating more shared processes.
