Orienting and defensive reactions to phobic and conditioned fear stimuli in phobics and normals.

The aim of this study was to compare cardiovascular and electrodermal responses from subjects conditioned to fear-relevant stimuli with responses from phobic selected to fear the same stimuli. The results partly validates a conditioning analog for specific phobias and the invalidating aspects are discussed.
