Samenvatting
A summary of a series of twelve lectures on the lecture of rail transport is given. Railway companies have to agree on a common approach to the problems ahead, together with the respective governments. They should concentrate on specific transport fields and corridors, guided by a sound knowledge of the consumers' needs.
