Samenvatting
The paper covers the founding principles of the safer routes programme and discusses the relationship Safer Routes community based projects have with travel behaviour change projects. It also covers funding structures and initiatives Land Transport NZ has underway to enable and inform activity. It provides an introduction to New ZealandÆs Safer routes programme and outlines similar projects, happening overseas.
