Samenvatting
The last few years the practical experience with the urban network control system UTOPIA-SPOT has greatly increased. Where four years ago the experience was limited to a number of larger sites in Italy, recent years have seen an increasing deployment in small (5 to 29 intersection) networks. In the northern part of Europe, there are now implementations in The Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Poland. This paper summarizes the experience with these systems and gives evaluation data where available.
