In the province of Noord-Holland 2.330 accidents occurred on roads administered by the province, 1.076 accidents happened on junction, 1.085 on road sections, and 169 on parallel-roads and/or cycle tracks. A total number of 812 persons were injured and there were 45 casualties, which was an increase of almost 80% compared with 1980.
