Samenvatting

A method for analyzing transit trade-offs is presented. Through a case study the paper examines the sensitivity of four service characteristics for dual-mode transit, one of several promising technological innovations. The four service characteristics are main line speed, guideway spacing, vehicle size, and station spacing. Graphical techniques are explored for highlighting comparative sensitivities.
