Samenvatting

Parents play an important role as mediator in most of the recently developed traffic education programmes for young children, However, parents education activities differ from those advocated in these programmes which emphasize behaviour topics such as crossing behaviour in relevant situations. As a result, communication and motivation problems can arise when introducing these programmes. In this study a measurement method is developed for the investigation of parent attitude towards the traffic education programme.
