The main aim of the traffic and transport policy of the Hague was to build multi storey parking garages for parking for a short time. Today six parking garages are built and four more are planned. The parking garages are not optimally used however. An interview was held on the motives for parking in the centre, the duration of the parking etc. Reasons for not using parking garages were the high tariffs, bad locations and the lack of personal safety.
