Samenvatting
A move has been made in the Netherlands towards the establisment of parking authorities. These are being defined as independent management organizations in which municipalities cooperate with (other) parties interested in the management of parking provisions. Such body will have the power to make decisions -within a certain framework- on the way of management of public and, if possible, other parking facilities within a given area of the municipality.
