Samenvatting
The cause of accidents with parked cars has to be found in the trivial fact that there are parked cars. With a good physical and environmental planning policy the necessity of parking can be influenced (selection of transport mode), the hindrance of parking can be prevented (illegal parking / and driving an parking can be segregated. The aim should be to prevent certain critical combinations of situations. Specifications for the construction and design of transverse profiles are presented.
