Samenvatting
The paper describes a simulation model of the parking system. Important elements of the system are the choice of a parking facility, driving around in search of parking space and the duration of stay. In the simulation model the choice process is represented by stochastic choice models. The specification of these models is dependent of the trip purpose; used variables are parking rates, restrictions on duration and walking distance from parking facility to destination.
