Samenvatting

The experience of and prospects for parking control as a means of traffic restraints in Greater London are described. The principle of restraint by parking control is that the availability of car parking in an area has consequences for the use of local and remote parts of the road network insofar as this use is dependent on being able to park at or close to the journey destination.
