Samenvatting

The magnitude and nature of parking problems in the cities in developing countries can be largely attributed to increased density of population, increased vehicle ownership, and lack of transport policy. The population growth in Delhi (India) has been phenomenal, resulting in number of problems, such as congestion, environmental pollution, and parking. In this paper an attempt has been made to highlight the parking problems and new parking standards to be adopted in the future for different types of residential and commercial areas in the city. The French title of the paper is: "Politique de stationnement pour diverses utilisations terrestres à Delhi".
