Samenvatting
This report deals with measures for improving the external safety of lorries. Decreasing the aggressivity of lorries to other road users is seen as an urgent task in the field of lorry safety. The focal point of future safety measures for lorries is in the field of active safety- see and be seen, in the area of passive safety- protecting of other drivers at the front and rear and at the side of the vehicles.
