Samenvatting
The papers of this record report on the design, evaluation, and performance of flexible as well as rigid pavements. Topics covered are wear and skidding resistance of concrete highway finishes, correlation data obtained from tests with skid-resistant tyres, and effects of pavement roughness on vehicle speeds. Pavement response and equivalences for various truck axle and tyre configurations are also discussed.
