Pavement traffic marking : materials and application affecting serviceability.

This synthesis is an attempt to provide information on the various practices without in fact making specific recommendations as found in handbooks or design manuals. Experiments with a variety of materials and practices have been conducted; however, the painted stripe continues to be the most widely used pavement marking.
