Samenvatting

Pedestrian fatalities of the U.S.A. and South Africa are compared with respect to age groups versus hour of the day. It is observed that in both countries one particular area is accidents involving 5 and 6 year old children after school. The reason for the differences between the other groups is not clear but differences in the environment and weather may be a major factor.
