Samenvatting
The objectives of this study were: to document some of the effects of high-magnitude winds on pedestrian behaviour; to identify and establish acceptable levels of wind activity (speed ranges and frequency of occurrences) for a variety of locations; and to provide information which could ultimately influence future policy decisions regarding the locating and design of structures in urban areas.
