Samenvatting

The present study aimed to determine the influence of driving experience on the possibilities of anticipation of the various action programs necessary for curve negotiation. The results show that beginners and experienced drivers are capable without visual control to estimate with precision the right moment to change direction (in the beginning of the curve), but that only experienced drivers are able to produce the appropriate amplitude of steering wheel rotation.
