Samenvatting
In the first part of this overview of the literature concerning perception and maintenance of a moving vehicle, the theoretical approaches which have been taken thus far, are discussed. The problem which they all leave unanswered, is the problem of the perceptual input. The existing literature which may help to answer this question is discussed in relation to this problem.
