Samenvatting
Traffic education should not stop after traffic lessons on schools. After leaving school the traffic education should be a continuous process. It must be aimed at knowledge, comprehension skill, attitude and behaviour of the road user. It can be realised by lessons for a license, propaganda and enforcement. From each of these items the efficiency is discussed. Recommendations for the set up of a continuous traffic education in the Netherlands are presented.
