The personal and family consequences of road accidents involving pedestrians and pedal cyclists : a survey among the casualties and their relative's admitted to the Birmingham Accident Hospital.

The objectives of the study were first to document systematically the financial burden and domestic disruption caused by road traffic accidents to the pedestrians and cyclists. Secondly to document if and how compensation was obtained and the problems involved.
