Samenvatting
The purpose of the work described in this paper was to develop an Automatic Processing of Personal Appearance Data System (APPADS). As part of this development, it was necessary to conduct a survey of personal appearance data techniques and devices presently used by some of the major law enforcement agencies. This information would be used to aid in the development of the various files to be included as components of the APPAD system.
