Samenvatting
The use of a perspective template (a rectangle of known size) in photographic mapping is described. A perspective template is included in the photograph of a flat surface and used as base to map items on that surface. Drawing the map, using principles of perspective, is made easier if one edge of the template is parallel to and near the lower edge of the picture. Details are given of the procedure for drawing maps from photographs. Substitutes for templates are suggested.
