Samenvatting

A new system developed in Sweden, jointly between Folksam Insurance and Chalmers University of Technology, allows photogrammetry to be conducted on vehicles to determine deformation. The system requires minimal training in both taking photographs and in their subsequent analysis. This paper outlines the photographic procedures used and developed for an indepth crash study using such a system, to minimise on scene inspection time and maximise data collection. It outlines the advantages and disadvantages, as well as future enhancements of the system. (A)
