Samenvatting

Aerial photography is an important source of information for any work involving study of transportation and the transportation environment. Applications range from the use of small satellite photography for regional recourses surveys, to the use of large scale helicopter photography for measurement of micro relief in man-made structures such as road surfaces or aircraft runways. This method also has been used in the study of traffic problems, including traffic flow and parking patterns.
