This publication summarizes 15 papers concerned with aspects of transportation planning including road investments to support oil and gas production and distribution; a new approach in community-based transportation planning; transportation-induced agglomeration effects and productivity; potential high-speed rail routes from a megaregion perspective; and the role of metropolitan planning organizations in transportation planning for megaregions.
