The planning, execution and evaluation of the child safety in cars campaign.

Earlier research has indicated a need for education of parents and health services staff regarding child restraints in cars. The campaign developed out of preliminary education activities in which parents told what they thought would be effective. An education package for plunket clinics, parents centres, play centres, kindergartens, creches, day- care centres, etc, was developed.
