Fulton Arcade exists in the context of the problems of a specific locality with a particular history and experience in planning and development. The Fulton Arcade Plan will create a two-lane two way transit way 24 feet wide in Fulton Street for buses and emergency vehicles only. Automobile traffic will be rerouted to other streets. Up to 64 buses will travel in each direction during the peak hour. A major feature will be a free standing Plexiglas and steel frame canopy system.
