Samenvatting
There is no accepted method on a technical or scientific basis for the planning of rural roads in Belgian rural development. Necessary steps have been taken in order to adapt the HELP- method, built in the Netherlands, to our circumstances.In thisway, it is tried to reach a more efficient approach of the rural areas, taking into account all relevant functions assigned to the countryside.
