Samenvatting
Experiments are described in which two opposing cars were both equipped with polarized headlights. Variations in their visibility distance were measured using either laminated or toughened windscreens. A list of the laminated and toughened windscreen used in the tests is appended. The main conclusions are that laminated windscreens in general appear suitable for use with a polarized headlight system, while toughened screens are not in general suitable for such use.
