Samenvatting
The experience acquired when drawing up the City of Milan Transport Plan proves that success mainly depends on proper plan management. This paper reports on the work procedure adopted, planned interventions, data gathered, methods, mathematical models and results obtained. As concerns the tools used, more importance was given to their gradual capabilities than to their mathematical aspects.
