Samenvatting
Pre-signals have been suggested as a means of increasing the efficiency of signal-controlled intersections. The results of a pilot study by the Road Research Laboratory show only a slight increase in discharge capacity when pre-signals are used but it is considered pre-signals may have useful applications in special circumstances.
