Samenvatting
Twenty-five volunteer subjects in 3 age groups were tested on 5 riding performance variables and on 13 physical and perceptual-motor ability factors thought to be realted to riding performance. A number of the physical and perceptual-motor abilities were significantly correlated with riding performance variables. A principal components analysis was then used to identify three components of cycling skill, the first two of which were found to be positively associated with riding performance.
