Samenvatting

From December 1970 to January 1973 the Road Safety Unit of the Salford University conducted an experiment, of which the main aim was to compare the accident rates of motor cyclists trained by means of the Royal Automobile Club (RAC)/Auto-Cycle Union (ACU) scheme with the accident rates of others who learned to ride by other schemes. Questionnaire and direct interview approaches are made. Literature on motor cycle instruction is reviewed. See also B 10164
