Anti-social behaviour, e.g. graffiti and vandalism, is a problem in many big cities and on public transport, where it dissuades people from using the services. Many public transport operators have introduced measures to keep anti-social behaviour away from their premises. These measures include ticket gates and surveillance systems. Most of the gates on UK stations come from Cubic Transportation Systems. The Meteor automatic metro line in Paris, France has automatic ticket gates from Italian company Gunnebo. Another company in the market is Automatic Systems from Belgium, who are to provide access control equipment in the Lyon subway. CCTV surveillance systems are increasingly being used, sometimes in conjunction with town centre schemes. CCTV cameras on public transport are a more recent innovation. The Cryptovision video surveillance system from Joyce Lebl was installed on the Lisbon metro in Portugal. French company Faiveley has supplied CCTV equipment for the Coradia trains in the UK.
