Samenvatting

A test was done by which the subjects task was to respond to the second of two signals which were presented in rapid succession. Data show that a minimal interval of 200 sec. Is needed between the signals in order to find a beneficial effect of advance information. Results from this test and following ones are discussed in terms of capacity sharing and single channel interpretation of the psychological refractory period.
