On behalf of the Regional Administration of Public Works in the province of Gelderland, the SWOV has made a description of the problem of safety belts usage. Attention is paid to: (1) situations, circumstances and personal characteristics on which the use of safety belts is dependent; and (2) the motives for the use or non-use of seat belts.
