This report serves the purpose of a follow-up survey addressing the recommendations that have been derived from the "Road Traffic and Drugs" seminar, organised by the Pompidou Group in 1999. It is the aim of this survey to disclose both barriers and opportunities to improving counter measures for controlling the use and abuse of psychoactive drugs in road traffic. The results are derived after data gathering by applying a questionnaire and analysing the responses from 24 countries (response rate: 73%). These results constitute the basis for future discussion on these barriers and opportunities. (Author/publisher)
